Actual requirements and product functionality may vary based upon trunking system configuration and requirements. After extensive testing on multiple configurations and conditions, Genesis suggests the following minimum specifications as a baseline. Additional hardware may be required in some circumstances. For optimal configuration, please contact Genesis.
GenWatch3 Host System Specifications
GenWatch3 Client System Specifications
Users monitoring a P25 system using a Motorola XTL™ Series RF-modem must do so on a 32-bit operating system.

For security purposes, the Data Reader is configured with two network interface cards. It is recommended that one be linked to the System network and one to the Corporate network.

For mission critical data, Genesis recommends redundant hardware.
GenWatch3 NetVista Client Specifications
In some cases, existing desktop computers with Windows XP Pro or Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate are sufficient to manage the GenWatch3 NetVista Client.
