February 25-26, 2008 - Genesis Attends Motorola Channel Partner Expo
Now that GenWatch3 ® is in the Motorola price pages, both for Motorola direct salesmen and for the Motorola Reseller community, Genesis was invited to participate in the annual product expo in LasVegas. 2500 Motorola dealers decended on the Wynn hotel to see the latest that Motorola has to offer, including GenWatch3! There was a lot of interest in the current portfolio products. As well, the dealers were asking to be able to resell several other Genesis network management tools. Be watching for Motorola to add GEnSAC and other Genesis 9600 products to their price pages in 2008. Also...watch for announcements about Genesis enhancing MotoTRBO!

February 25-29, 2008 - Genesis Live at IWCE 2008
We came, we saw...we shook lots of hands at this year's International Wireless Communications Expo in Las Vegas. In addition to this year's IWCE Convention, Genesis made a strong showing at Motorola's Channel Partners Expo. Thanks to all who came out to see us.

February 25, 2008 - Genesis Article in MRT Magazine
MRT News reported from this year's IWCE Convention an article on Genesis. Genesis President, Phil Burks announced an agreement with Motorola to fully license the control-channel protocol for SmartNet and SmartZone 3600 trunking systems. Read the full article here.

June 1, 2007 - TAG Management Named Exclusive Distributor for Genesis in UK
Phil Burks, President of The Genesis Group, today announced the appointment of TAG Management Limited in Richmond, United Kingdom as the exclusive distributor of Genesis Trunking Management and Performance Software Tools to the UK market. "TAG will act as our importer, installation, training and support portal for all Genesis customers in the UK" said Burks. "We have built a relationship with TAG during our visits to the UK and we put complete faith and trust in the time that we have spent with TAG that they will uphold the Genesis brand and customer relationships that we value so highly." February, 2007 - Jim Wallace Joins the Genesis Team
Since 1970, Jim has been involved in the "office automation" industry. Early in his career, he collaborated with high tech giants Canon, Casio and Texas Instruments. He evolved from a PC retailer into a network systems integrator and was the first Novell Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) in Tyler, Texas. Prior to coming to Genesis, Jim was responsible for sales, installation and integration of digital copiers. We're glad to have Jim and his wealth of experience.

June, 2007 - Colby Hearn Joins the Genesis Team
Colby is a recent graduate of UT Tyler with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. As a student, he worked as a software programmer in the Computer Science department. Like his brother, Kirby (see below), Colby has an inherent sense for all things technical and enjoys programming even in his spare time. Yet another brilliant mind is now at work on the Genesis team. April, 2006 - Kirby Hearn Joins the Genesis Team
Kirby came to us in April, 2006 as a recent UT Tyler grad with a Computer Science degree. Unlike most of his contemporaries, he had the unique distinction of having knowledge of trunking and of what we do for the industry before starting at Genesis! As with all of our folks, Kirby will have many varied roles at our company. Most importantly, we will do our part to make his talents shine. Welcome Kirby!

April, 2006 - Becky Poe Joins the Genesis Team
Becky would be the last person to toot her own horn...so we'll do it for her. After getting a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Mathematics, Becky completed her MBA. She has years of experience in programming and systems analysis — mostly in financial areas. Becky also has a wealth of experience in corporate IT training. Welcome, Becky!

On behalf of the entire Genesis family, Kelley Clarida (VP Marketing) accepted the award for our GenWatch3 software. GenWatch3 is a revolutionary software product that can listen to the Motorola SmartNet and SmartZone 3600 baud Control Channel, archive it, report on it, alarm it (4Q 2004), display it, and the list goes on!
