Trunking Telecomunicaciones S.A., by way of their parent company Anditel S.A., has been in the business of providing Trunking communications (Motorola SmartNet), satellite communications and other sophisticated levels of communication service for many years. One of their largest clients is the Colombia electric company. Their needs have increased over the years and that led Anditel to install Motorola's SmartZone Trunking system. They have begun operation in 5 of the major cities in Colombia and in the end, they will have 40+ sites that will cover 95% of the the Colombian population. Bogota is a sprawling city that is bordered on two sides by mountains. Genesis is proud to have been selected to supply the airtime accumulation and billing software for Motorola and in turn Trunking Telecomunicaciones S.A.
 The Trunking Telecomunicaciones / Anditel master site is located in a highly protected site atop one of the mountains that surrounds Bogota. On this mountain, there are many forms of satellite, broadcast and wireless communications.

 The Zone Controller and the RF channels for this site are located on the first floor of the building. The third floor of the building houses the Control center for the SmartZone System. |
 Here is a photo of the Master Control with Greg Hendry (Genesis) and Alex (Anditel). In the top middle of the photo you can see a 'main' and 'standby' GenSZAI operating. In the near future, Trunking Telecomunicaciones S.A. will be moving the 'main' GenSZAI to their offices in downtown Bogota by way of a microwave link. From their offices, they will be able to watch all of the SmartZone activity. That's great for Customer Service personnel! |

 The entire class spent two days of classroom time plus 3 days of hands on time to learn all of the major secions of GTMS and GenSZAI. They will be using the Genesis software for billing fixed charges and airtime to all of their clients. |

Trunking Celumovil S.A., Bogota, Colombia
Covering the entire country of Colombia with a single Trunking system is an enormous task, no matter how you look at it. Trunking S.A. with headquarters in Bogota is one of three Colombian companies to do that. They elected to install a Motorola SmartZone system to do that. Initially, they have begun operation in 3 of the major cities and in the end, they will have 40+ sites that will cover 95% of the the Colombian population.  This is an example of a typical SmartZone Central Office installation. There is no RF channel equipment at this location. |
 The Genesis GenSZAI software connects to the Zone Controller ATIA port located on the back of the Zone Controller. It is then distributed (in the case of Trunking SA) to two PCs operating WindowsNT and GenSZAI to provide 100% redundancy. The reason for this is that this is a public use system and fault tolerant design demanded this. |

 Giovanni and Alfredo are the primary students and operators of EzBill. EzBill takes the airtime information from GenSZAI, imports the information and finally creates invoices in Spanish. |
| In Trunking S.A.'s case, EzBill's invoice will be used as a Detallé and then Trunking S.A. will create their own specialized Factura from EzBill's open databases to meet their personal preferences. We are very proud to have Trunking S.A. as an addition to the Genesis client family! |

Petrobras, Belem & Urucu, Brazil
 Petrobras is the government oil company of Brazil with vast operations across the country. Their Exploration & Production location in Urucu (west of Manaus in the jungle) is the home for our Genesis software. There, they operate a Motorola SmartnetII trunk system. In the few short months they have had the system, the Trunking Group has created exceptional handbooks and training for all of their users and potential users.
 Petrobras has installed our full GTMS (Genesis Trunking Management System) to manage their system from both Belem (near the mouth of the Amazon River) and from Urucu where the system is located. In May, 1998 Genesis president, Phil Burks traveled to their offices in Belem and taught our TrunkSmart training course that covers from basic trunking to full and advanced operation of GTMS. Shown in the photo from top left are: Milton Pantoja, Wellington Pereira, Sérgio Anunciação, Ubiraci Paschoal (lower row) Fernando Torres, Phil Burks (Genesis) Sidni Fernandes, and Alexandre Blois (Motorola do Brasil). Alexandre provided translation as well as general assistance during the week. All received an 'A' in the course!
