Trio - Past, Present & Future

Trio's Evolution
In its first release, Genesis Trio focused as a front end for Motorola Harmony Wireless Communication System and iDEN wireless systems. In its second major release, we added billing and management for SmartZone systems. In it's third major release, we have added full support for managing Motorola analog trunk systems, LTR Systems, PassPort NTS systems, and generic systems. Each system type is a module, or 'component' as we call it, that attaches to the Trio core engine.

Since Trio's initial roll out, Genesis has been adding capability for managing and operating SmartZone™, Omnilink™ and Dimetra™. All of these Motorola technologies are now capable of being managed and billed from Genesis Trio. We have also added some VERY clever features for billing and managing SmartZone and Dimetra users. What Is Genesis Trio?
Genesis Trio is Windows 2000 Professional based CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) software. To call Trio "accounting software" would be like calling NASA's Space Shuttle "just a rocket"!

In general, Genesis Trio is designed to help manage and bill all of the thousands of details associated with wireless communication radios. Genesis Trio can activate, deactivate and change user features in the MSO (Mobile Switching Office — the system brain) from GUI (Graphic User Interface) screens (available forSmartNet, Privacy Plus and Dimetra systems only at this time). Genesis Trio can collect individual usage information (telephone, group call and private call) and turn that raw usage into billable usage by the rules that you design. More simply, Genesis Trio can go from contract to invoice for PassPort NTS, LTR, Dimetra, SmartZone and Omnilink wireless communication systems. In short, Trio does the following:

  • Provisioning *
  • Billing
  • Client Care
  • Accounting
  • Market and Traffic Analysis

* Provisioning not available on SmartZone or LTR due to infrastructure limitations.

Working with Genesis Trio is simple. We use screens that look and feel like Windows software that you already know how to use. We use Trio Wizards to make the learning curve short. We have automated enough to save you time and employees but we still let you have a 'hands on' operation if you want it that way.

Secure Communication
Genesis Trio is designed to allow your dealers and agents to input information about clients and units by way of a secure web site. Customers can also use a secure connection to view their current invoice, up to the current day!
