Why iVista?
iVista was developed to enhance efficiency, productivity and information access of GenWatch3 and GenGET by extending reporting capabilities beyond the desktop.
iVista is the answer to three major goals we set out to accomplish:
- Offer remote access to reporting tools so agencies or forces can generate and save their own Excel reports
- Offer this access via secure login, so each agency or force can view its subscribers' information — and no one else's
- Offer a convenient way to store generated reports so each agency or force can easily manage its reports
Case Study: Bell Mobility Radio
Bell Mobility Radio, a division of Bell, Canada and The Genesis Group have a well-established working relationship. When Bell approached Genesis to consider creating a web-based GOS reporting solution, Genesis was ready to step up to the task. No such application had previously existed, so there was no framework or architecture from which to borrow or start. The end result of this collaborative effort produced GenWatch3 iVista.

GenSZAI (now GenGET) and GenWatch3 have always offered powerful reporting and monitoring solutions. With GenWatch3 iVista, reports can be generated and viewed online from any location via secure login.
Store it
Once an iVista report has been generated, it may be downloaded and stored locally as an Excel® file. For future access, it may be bookmarked in a browser and viewed anytime.

Each iVista login is designed to allow one agency or force to access its data securely. Each agency or force will only see data for its subscribers and no one else’s. iVista is a time and labor saving solution, and empowers the user with fast, efficient reporting capabilities.

GenWatch3 iVista can enhance any ASTRO25, Dimetra, or SMARTZONE network with versatile, agency-specific GOS reporting on demand, requiring no manual manipulation by administration. Now each agency can independently manage specific information as if that system were all their own, empowering them with fast, efficient reporting capabilities. And if that isn't enough, agencies can conveniently download and store reports in Excel format for later use or bookmark them in a "favorites" list for easy online access.
