These numbers are based on allowing three times the actual needed space for the GenSZAI databases. We do that to allow space for any manipulation of the databases that might be necessary. If you are planning to use a RAID configuration for better data integrity, these numbers represent the total disk space needed across all drives.

In the GenSZAI Data Warehouse Configuration, we typically keep 0-31 days in the first GenSZAI Data Server machine, and days 1-365 (or 730) in the Data Warehouse machine. Since the greatest majority of queries and reports are done in the <30 day window, this configuration allows for much faster reporting. It is a simple task to point our core reports to various databases.
