GenWatch3 v.2.2
The following details resolved issues and new features in
GenWatch3 v.2.2:
Activity
- When filtering by Group, Private calls do not appear even if they have a default group assigned to the ID
- RSP25 Statuses no longer show up as ACKs
- Location and Agency are now shown for each unit in the Advanced Search window
- End of Call - Additional Info entry now shows the reason correctly
- End of Global Busy now shows correct Start of Busy timestamp
Affiliation
- Bring Active to Front option no longer causes flickering on initial load
- ID search efficiency improved
- "Selected Count" value on group selection screens now shows accurate information
- When removing a parent node in the Tree list, all child nodes are also removed
- Added Talkgroup with Radio Count List
- Inhibited radios are now stripped of their group affiliation
- Radio Search no longer shows duplicate activities for radios
- Abracadabra — Multigroup affiliation no longer mysteriously vanishes into thin air
- Updated Group Statistics to a live display
- Now indicates when talkgroups are in calls, and marks late entries
- The "Maximum Viewable Limit Reached" message now closes
- No longer returns an unhandled exception with ATIA data running
Alerts
- Alerts should now successfully recover after the host's network connection goes down
- Resizing GUI Notification window expands message column
- Added an Emergency Display to the right-click menu of Alert
Alias
- Added the ability to process and display multislot (TDMA) activity in applicable inputs and real-time display/reporting modules
- Improved performance when managing message sets with a large number of messages (~1,000)
- Importing a large number of resources no longer causes high CPU usage
- Resolved an issue when importing a large number of radio IDs could cause active connection to be lost
- Increased agency name character limit
- Now warns the user before allowing a channel to be assigned with a duplicate channel position
- Fixed an issue where importing files with invalid fields would sometimes not show the reason the rows failed to import
- Deleted system IDs are no longer automatically readded
- Updating IDs no longer cause the service to temporarily go down
- Selection limit for resource selectors is now enforced
- Last known GPS and ASTRO 25 Outdoor Locator sensor information is now stored for a radio ID
- Now supports the exporting of Zones, Sites and Channels
- Status set values can now be saved in alias as well as the database
- Radio History now shows Radio Rejects
- Status and message set values now save correctly

AMNP
- Now supports TCP connection type
Archiver
- Added the ability to process and display multislot (TDMA) activity in applicable inputs and real-time display/reporting modules
- Fixed GUI to prevent multiple simulatneous update attempts
- Fixed an issue when the purge interval was set to 5 weeks it was purged prematurely
- Each Affiliation/Registration should now be archived
- Added detailed warning message when setting update will result in immediate archived data purge
- Purging options now displays purge warning correctly
ATIA
- Added the ability to process and display multislot (TDMA) activity in applicable inputs and real-time display/reporting modules
- Add Multislot flag and Site Channel Slot List value
- Corrected an issue where ATIA connections that had not been started showed in the windows system tray
- Corrected logic for determining if Radio Status Traffic packets are Interzone or not
- Fixed bug related to processing specific packet types for ATIA v7.7

Channel

- Disabling Auto Jump to Active Emergency is now enforced down to the Site level
- Current Control Channel packet details now avaiable via the control channel
- Channel should now correctly save all settings when the GUI is closed

- Fixed an issue where a busy would not end when a busy radio issued an affiliation
- Remote Transmitter Interface diagnostics displayed correctly

- The console window now displays channel blocks using numbers generated by the GenWatch system

- Site Idle Timer is no longer ignored after a control channel is added
- Setting the System Panel to minimized is not remembered after restarting Channel
- ATIA Sourced Data — Fixed an issue where sites were staying in emergency mode after the emergency call ended on all channels on the site via Call Update
- Using the "Use Alias Colors" option will no longer hide radio IDs that are not yet in the Alias database
- Fixed an issue in which Show Alias Colors option in Channel would not display the colors for talkgroups
- An unhandled exception no longer occurs when adding background Images to Site under Zone header
- Never-ending busies and an incorrect active busy count have been resolved
- Fixed an issue where System header channel width setting would not update when resizing the module, causing the channel blocks to shrink
- Channel Summary setting now refreshes properly upon re-opening Channel
- Fixed an issue where data transfer between Channel Module and Client was greatly reduced
- Channel refresh is now a scheduled event to prevent instability
- Base Station Identification information remains in the channel box untill the channel is reused
- Busy count added for site and zone bars
- Added 50 site display limit
- Auto Jump to Emergency is now an optional feature
- Console Site 0 Calls added by Channel instead of ID
- Removed the 50 site maximum limitation
- Packet details for busies now includes elapsed time for busies that have ended

CloneWatch
- Fixed an issue that cause the module to hang when a client attempts to edit a schedule the host has just deleted

- Fix bug that caused duplicate notification for schedule restriction violations
- Site Map is no longer of mirrored image of the actual coordinates
- Upgrading no longer loses suspects and ID Ranges

- Specific warnings may now be enabled or disabled in settings
- Fixed an issue in which an Emergency alarm was restricted to an ID Range and the ID was not added as a suspect when an Emergency Alarm would occurs
Connect
- Added AMNP Connection Type
- Fixed an issue in which the SNMP connection would crash the GenWatch Service
GenFIT
- Licenses allow for multiple connections
- Added a Busies queue
- Added packet filtering to scrolling activity
- Channel and Activity panes now visible in the same view
- License now allows for a full week of usage, with no absolute time restriction
- Fixed an issue in which channel block would not always update correctly
- Raw data logging feature added
- End of Busy no longer occurs right before every PTT
- Fixed issue where attempts to license GenFIT on a machine without GenWatch would fail
GEnSAC
- Added option to add 700000 to the unit ID
GenSPOut
- Added the ability to process and display multislot (TDMA) activity in applicable inputs and real-time display/reporting modules
- TCP/UDP Connections that have a Port set to zero should no longer have their ports changed when clicking on a connection of a different type in the connections list
- Switching between connection no longer changes the connection properties
- It is now possible to be licensed for SWII connections only
- GenSPOut should no longer (unsuccessfully) attempt to pad a field to a specified character length when the pad character is set to null
- Information display save function writes all lines to the file
- Baud rate now controlled by baud rate selector for serial connections
- Fixed an issue in which using a filter that includes items not present in incoming packets could cause a null reference exception
- Fixed an error that was caused moving a User Text field in the "Selected Fields and Masks" list

GenWatch3 Service
- Resolved an issue where the service would not stop completely when stopped by a user
- Fixed an issue where the "X" and maximize buttons for the Radio search window would not work in certain instances
Group
- Changing group window options updates appropriate group windows
- Users now have the option of hiding the Group Tree on the left side of the window
- All Activity Window no longer covers branding label
- Added an option to mute Emergency Alarms
Halcyon
- Modified how overlapping ranges are evaluated
- Logic now checks Enabled property before issuing a Call Alert ACK
- GPS-based commands are now available in RCM and RCM can be licensed for GPS only use
- Users may now add radio IDs to an Auto-ACK list. Call alerts targeting radios on this list will be auto-acked by Halcyon.
Installation
- Fixed remote database installation option
- Corrected tab order on the directory options screenRadio Activity by ID report image added to installer.
- Radio Activity by ID report image added to installer
- Present descriptive SQL Errors if they occur
- Alert now shuts down properly when GenWatch3 is uninstalled
- A notification is presented if SQL Server does not have Mixed Mode enabled. The installation does not continue untill mixed mode is enabled
- A reboot is now required if the service is set to disabled
- Specific conditions can cause an Upgrade to delete all Talkgroup and Radio DisplayIDs
- GenGET SNMP Service is now an intallation option
- Added a warning that an update package cannot be used to perform a full installation

Launchpad
- Tools are no longer automatically added if the target file does not exist
- Switching users now clears any active temporary filters
- Added a new temporary filter feature. This feature allows you to create a filter that will be applied to Activity, Channel and Group for a specified amount of time.
Location
- Updating a connection name no longer results in two connection icons
- Added Packet Forwarding to ASTRO 25 Outdoor Locator to allow for multiple clients to connect to a single MUPS
- Creating a connection no longer causes an unhandled exception
RCM
- Improved the handling of multi-part commands with a status of Timed Retry or In Passive
- Commands now show a status of "Invalid" when rejected by the system
- The windows in RCM are now properly refreshed after a "Clean" command
- Corrected an issue where Reject Reason packets did not correctly invalidate a command, resulting in RCM retrying the command indefinetly
- Upgrading from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 adds WACN data to existing commands
- Added visual indication that the table is locked
- Snapshot now reports if a radio is currently in conversation
Reports
- Added the ability to process and display multislot (TDMA) activity in applicable inputs and real-time display/reporting modules
- The Radio Commands report now includes Call Alert commands send by CADI connections
- LoneWorker Alarms report should no longer show alarms for workers who have been deleted
- Resolved a bug in the Radio Affiliation report that was causing busies to show up as calls
- Radio PTTs report now correctly filters on selected frequencies
- Radio PTTs report now shows the full radio ID on the By Hour Chart
- Fixed COM Exception when running reports

System Summary

- SystemUsageByGraph only shows frequencies that exist in RES__Channels
- Corrected the way that Max IDs and Max Talkgroups are calculated
- Now considers throttled packets when calculating total packet count
- Average Call Length value on grid should now be more precise
- Total call duration value should now display correctly for TDMA calls
- Grid value responses now target the requesting IPAddress:Port
- Now displays correct number of busies in seconds
- Busies Quantity now shows correct count
SysVista
- Connections per second no longer includes ATIA Connection Denied packets in its calculations
- Resolved conflict where host settings interfered with client settings
- Corrected the way Radio Connections per Second are calculated
- All Interzone activity is ignored; Considering consoles is now an option
- On dials, the full WACN and System ID are now shown
Trigger
- Relay terminology changed to Enable/Disable instead of Open/Close
- Registration packets processed correctly
- Active trigger timestamp updates correctly
- Copy trigger functionality causes original trigger to be modified
- In the setup window for Radio System Event triggers, Trigger should now properly disable the group and radio ID selection buttons when no system is selected
- Fixed an issue causing Triggers to fail to activate after upgrading from version 2.0.5.22
- Emergency events are no longer triggered by Interzone packets
- Email and SNMP Actions are now licensed features
- Added triggers based on Presence/Lack of GenWatch3 MUPS event packets
- New trigger can be added as a copy of an existing trigger
- Events are now broadcast by Syslog and optionally saved to the eventlog

- Presence of a PTT trigger will not execute following an upgrade. This issue has been resolved.
