GenTimeSync Overview

GenTimeSync (GTS) is very powerful. As the diagram shows, you choose your Time source. We have defined the Spectracom clock format and 'other' Julian format sources such as PCs. Sometimes you are not looking for atomic accuracy, you just need to have everything in millisecond step. Next, you have a PC that acts as the 'server' of that time source for all other devices. For each device that you want to synchronize, you create connections. In those connections, you tell GenTimeSync about the general latency that you see. GTS is also powerful enough to automatically adjust itself as latency moves. At each device, a 'client' GTS is installed to receive the time information and then it serves that time to the device and/or other GenTimeSync 'clients' (shown on the very right of the diagram).

Whether you are in the telecommunications business or not, you WILL have a problem getting computers to synchronize their clocks. We searched the world for a solution to our particular problem and didn't find it, so we made our own.

Why GenTimeSync?
Many business processes, computer applications, and other systems in today’s work environment require highly synchronized system times among many different computers and other hardware devices. Often these are in a distributed environment. GenTimeSync solves this difficult problem of time synchronization through the use of a windows service and configuration program. GenTimeSync is flexible, powerful, and accurate, providing time syncing capabilities among many devices, via multiple media, and in multiple time formats. It's done with only ONE time source and no additional hardware.

We love to work smarter, not harder. The GenTimeSync Interface is very simple to understand. The Setup tasks are shown in a clear to understand order.

What can I connect my time source to?
About anything you can imagine! It can even be on the other end of the Internet for all we care. AND you can connect to MULTIPLE devices at the same time! You can have any mix of serial and TCP/IP. These can be other PCs, Voice Recording devices, Attendance and Time Clocks, Call Center Consoles, Telephone PBXs, 911 devices, NC machines, Alarm systems, ANYTHING!

When you tell GenTimeSync that you want to add a device, you are shown this window. It is clear and concise.

Final Result
Now you're ready to go. Simply start the service and your Time Source is accurately sent to all other devices that need accurate timing!

Pricing
Pricing It is a lot less than you think! The 'Server' module is $500 USD. From there, you'll need to contact us for the pricing on each 'client' module since the price goes down on quantity purchases.
