CloneWatch - Identify and Eliminate Duplicate Radios

You don’t want him to. But it is happening right now and right under your nose. You can spend days and weeks trying to figure out which radios are stealing your airtime.

Enter Genesis CloneWatch.

CloneWatch is a powerful add-on module to our popular network management suite GenWatch3®. CloneWatch identifies and helps eliminate the bad guys while they're in act. CloneWatch may not stop a hacker (...yet), but it sure makes it easier to nail him. When you catch the hacker, you’ll have concrete proof of every time he keyed up, every site he visited, every second of airtime he stole from you. Use it on your SmartZone®, SmartNet® or P25 system as a powerful weapon against hackers.

• How many radios are cloned on your system?
       • Are HACKERS doing more than listening in?
              • Do you have air time thieves on your system?

Is that hacker just a scanner person that wants to listen to your system? Or, is it a potential terrorist that is wanting to cause harm and create havoc? Hard to tell. CloneWatch will work along with our industry accepted GenWatch3 and GenSZAI to monitor your Motorola SmartNet or SmartZone system and alert you when things just aren't right.

Features

Shows CloneWatch related resources in a tiered tree structure, so resources are organized and easy to manage.

Utilizes screen space with collapsible screen partitions.

Organizes Talkgroup and unit ID values in "ranges" for quick data entry on the resources that you wish to restrict. Ranges can be even only, odd only or all numbers in the range.

Allows you to mark an ID range as Assigned (in use i.e. activity expected), Unassigned (provisioned but not assigned) and unallocated (not provisioned and therefore not in use).

Allows you to create "Weekly Schedules of Expected Use" to apply to unit ID ranges (not physically limited, just reports the unit ID as a suspect when activity is received outside of the selected schedule).

Optionally restricts a unit ID to a set of services that it can use (not physically limited, just reports the unit ID as a suspect when a service outside of the selected services is used).

Allows you to customize the threshold for allowed call overlap to compensate for longer system hang times.

Dynamically adds suspects to the Suspect List, based on he following violations:

  • Usage from an ID in an unassigned range.
  • Usage from an ID in an unallocated range.
  • Usage from an ID outside of its assigned "Schedule of Expected Use".
  • Usage of a service outside the selected services if a range restricted to a set of services.
  • Complete call overlap.
         A. Unit ID: 5 on Talkgroup 7
         B. Unit ID: 5 on Talkgroup 13

Call 'B' begins and ends while call 'A' is still going.

  • Partial call overlap.
         A. Unit ID: 5 on Talkgroup 7
         B. Unit ID: 5 on Talkgroup 13

Call 'B' begins and ends within [ adjustable threshold ] seconds of call 'A' beginning.

  • Partial overlap calls considering different talkgroups and/or sites (coming soon).
  • Activity on multiple sites with an impossible driving distance (coming soon).
  • Rapid affiliations by single unit (coming soon).
  • Send Request radio to and receive multiple affiliations (coming soon).

Organizes suspects into a Suspect List. List is sorted on many suspect properties. This list shows printable, real-time information on its suspects.

Suspects can be echoed in a Hot List that shows more detailed and summary information on a suspect. This list shows printable, real-time information on its suspects.

Allows suspects to be marked as "Exempt" in case they behave in a way that results in invalid suspect activity.
